First Lady Irene Houston

Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. Evangelist Irene Houston accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and was filled with His Spirit at an early age.  Her ministry was nurtured and developed early through the disciplines of the church: Sunday School, Sunshine Band, Purity Class, Young People’s Willing Workers (YPWW) and Young Women’s Christian Council (YWCC).

 

Her love for God, the church, and her interest in learning about it, gave her great zeal.  She served and continues to serve the Church.  Early in ministry, she understood the highest and the holiest of qualifications that you can receive is to have the divine call of God on your life. 

 

She accepted her call to the scared responsibility of the gospel ministry, to teach the Word of God.  Evangelist Irene Houston believes the call on her life is to challenge believers to live in victory through applying God's Word.

 

She is married to Pastor Anthony E. Houston and is the Co-Pastor of Abundant Life Tabernacle C.O.G.I.C., which she co-founded with her husband.  Their sons and daughter serve with them in ministry: Deacon Michael Houston, Missionary Brittany Houston, Deacon Marcus Houston.

 

First Lady Irene Houston is committed to bringing people to Jesus Christ, developing them in Christ like maturity, and equipping them for their ministry in the church and life mission work, in order to magnify God's name.
